Chairlady’s Musings: December
“Time is running out for us all at the same pace, if you sit it goes away, it you sleep it goes away, if you do something it goes away, if you are happy it goes away, if you are miserable it goes away.” – SADHGURU
This might sound a bit depressing, but it is a gentle reminder to all of us to use your time wisely. Everyone has the exact same 24 hours a day. But now that we are heading into Dezemba (apt spelling for this time of the year as we are tired yet we are looking forward to the discombobulated days of not knowing (or caring) what day and time it is and what we should be doing). I urge you to use your time to feed your soul and fill your heart with all the things you love. Whether it is family time, relaxing, sleeping, travelling, cooking, eating and being merry, do just that. No guilt. It is time to recharge those batteries (or not, let them run out flat if you like) and truly be present every day.
I want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to the KZNWIB committee for all their hard work this year (we had a wonderful year), to the past chairs for their support and for all our wonderful members and visitors who came to our meetings each month, connecting and forming lasting relationships. We tried new things and had fun.
Wishing everybody a blessed and happy Festive Season. Xxx Tilanie
