- Transparency and to always have a paper trail. “Better a short pencil than a long memory”
- Never know it all. Always open your mind to learn new challenges.
- Networking is key.

- Build on a solid foundation.
- People always do business with people.
- Perpetuate abundance.
KAREN BROKENSHA
- Magical number 3. Make 3 intentional connections with 3 ladies from each meeting.
- Daisy chain of connections and how important referrals can be.
- Build authentic relationships.
CHARMAINE SCHWENN
- Life is not always rainbows and sunshine, but KZNWIB is a safe space where you can allow yourself to be vulnerable.
- “Slow the duck down”
- Learn to say “yes” to yourself and “no” to others without explanation.
EMMA DUNK
- Knitting: “Stick to your knitting” stick to what you are good at and stop trying to do everything.
- Balls: Family, Work, Health, Faith & Friends…juggling them all. The only rubber ball is work and the rest are glass. Don’t let the important ones drop.
- Tribe: Your network determines your net worth.
