Chairlady’s May (or May not) Musings

It is definitely May-not-musings. Honestly, I’ve been wrecking my brain on what to chat about this month and came up with very little. Some light bulbs went off, but nothing stuck. I admit it, I have run out of nuggets of wisdom to share…………but I know it is temporary.

And maybe that will be my not-musings, the fact that it is ok to not always be on top of your game. I guess we can’t be good looking, witty and clever all the time 😊 and our ducks (squirrels in my case) are not always in a row or even around. It is ok to admit when creativity is low, and you come up empty.

The last month has flown by in a blur of hours and hours (days really) of editing. I’ve had a couple of technical and human errors that resulted in a gazillion hours of editing of 1-hour shoots. So much time wasted and it has taken a toll on my body and my sleep. But I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and have actually learned a lot. Some new techniques but I also realised there more things I should say no to.

I think for this month I am going to cheat and find creativity and wisdom from others. Time to check out the 30-day challenge for ideas and get stuck into some good business and personal growth books – any good suggestions?
