  1. What is the name of your business and what is your role? Three Peaks Management Pty (Ltd), Customer Success Liaison.
  2. Describe your business in two sentences. Three Peaks specialises in payment collection solutions which automate the money collection process, improve cash flow, and reduce collection costs and financial risk. We offer a range of services, including debit order collections, EFT payments for salaries, wages, commissions & supplier payments,  debt collection and short-term insurance.
  3. How long have you been in business? We’ve been innovating in the payments arena for 35 years now and attribute this success to delivering innovative solutions backed by personalized customer service.
  4. How did you get into this business? Three Peaks was founded by Debbie & Alain Vandekan, after successful careers in their respective fields of Corporate Banking and Insurance. They realised that the major banks were unable to service the SME market when it came to their debit order collections and as a result, Three Peaks was established to fill this niche, not in competition to the banks, but to work in partnership with them. 
  5. What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced, and how did you overcome it? The biggest challenge has been finding the right team players that fit the culture, attitude and skill required. Taking on an HR specialist has resulted in more time working with the existing team to understand the team dynamics and great culture. This has resulted in hiring slower and releasing people quicker.
  6. What single trait/skill could you not have succeeded without? Our biggest skill and trait has probably been our IT development and support tech team who has continued to build on system automation allowing less human intervention and allowing our teams to be more customer centric.
  7. What is the best business advice you’ve received? Tough question as there are many mentors, coaches and clients that we work alongside, and they all have nuggets of wisdom that we are fortunate to be exposed to. The one that comes to mind is when there is a challenge, digest the problem, raise it with our management team and allow all to participate in the outcome or solution.
  8. Your secret to business success is? Three Peaks has strived to persevere, placing our people as important as our clients who are the heart of our business. We meet our clients where they are as our organisation is built on trust, respect and empathy within and externally.
  9. What is your business goal for 2024? Our Mission is to build a truly ‘Cash-centric’ economy by providing seamless payment solutions for tomorrow’s business owner. Tech-enabled. Secure. Convenient. Trusted advisors securing assets that are important to our client’s daily lives.
  10. Tell us one thing that not many people know about you? I’ve always wanted to write a children’s book & am currently acting on this dream!
