1. What is the name of your business and what is your role? Ahavah Corporate Gifts – I am the Owner
  2. Describe your business in two sentences. Ahavah Consulting is a Level 1 BEE, supplier of Corporate Gifts and Promotional Giveaways, including calendars, diaries and other printed stationery, branded clothing and bespoke gifts. We specialise in building loyalty through making clients feel valued and reminded of your brand in positive and meaningful ways.
  3. How long have you been in business? Three and a half years
  4. How did you get into this business? I’ve been in marketing for over 15 years prior to opening my business and this. Gifting and branded promotional items has always been my passion. So with my experience and vast network of suppliers, it was a perfect match.
  5. What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced, and how did you overcome it? The naysayers, especially during tough times. It’s so difficult to find hope in a challenging business climate, but I am so blessed to be surround with amazing people from whom I am able to draw inspiration. That, along with hard work and prayer have been my formula for success.

  7. What is the best business advice you’ve received? Always look to solve someone’s need.
  8. Your secret to business success is? I love what I do and I put my heart and soul into it. My clients know that they can trust me to give them the best advice, value for money and service. I always keep my client’s objective in mind to ensure that there is a positive return on their investment.
  9. What is your business goal for 2021? To grow and be able impact the community and businesses connected to me in a positive and meaningful way.
  10. Tell us one thing that not many people know about you? I love writing and plan to (complete and) release my book filled with some interesting tales of my youth (hopefully) soon.
