Topic: Behind every successful woman is her own unique journey.
Shilpa Mehta is the first female President of the Entrepreneurs Organisation Durban, which is the world’s most influential community of entrepreneurs who help each other to learn and grow. Shilpa will share her journey as an entrepreneur, being a woman in a ‘man’s world’ and what it has taken for her to succeed.
Guest Speaker: Shilpa Mehta
Shilpa Mehta, is the Owner of Production Logix, KZN’s largest electronics contract manufacturer. Mehta was born and raised in Durban. She completed her studies at the University of Cape Town, majoring in Finance and Accounting. She completed her qualification at auditing firm KPMG and then moved into structured finance and property at Investec. Thereafter she moved to head up the commercial teams of printing giants Uniprint and Hirt and Carter which was JSE listed.
Having the spirit of an entrepreneur, Mehta decided to leave corporate world, and buy Production Logix in 2015 which has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and offers a full turnkey solution and assembles PC Boards which drive electronic devices ranging from military, tracking, metering and IOT devices.
