It’s not if, but when. According to the latest research by Surfshark, South Africa is currently 5th in the world for incidents of cyber crime. During 2022 South Africa had 56 users per million fall victim to cyber-crime. With Business Tech reporting 230 million detected threats in 2021. Currently one of the preferred attack paths is via email. Improving your awareness and perception of these threats can give you an edge in a dangerous online cyber-scape.

Renee Lovell, 37 years young, is a single mom to a beautiful 5 year old daughter named Hope. She has experience in multiple industries, ranging from event planning to industrial laundromat, and has a passion for business. She has been General Manager of AtomGate, who’s core focus is Cyber Security, for the last three years. Renee was recently presented with an award for the Sales Hero 2023 from their international partner, SonicWall. AtomGate has been providing security solutions for 20 years. No matter what area she works in, she is committed to providing the best service to her community and is keen to prevent the scourge of cyber crime from gaining traction in our city.
