- What’s the name of your business, and what role do you play in making it a success?
Precision Business Services (Pty) Ltd – I am the managing director
- If you had to sum up your business in two sentences, how would you describe it?
Our business is an accounting and tax practice focussed on providing customised service to clients. We aim to provide reliable, accurate services whilst maintaining the personal service.
- How long have you been on this journey, and what inspired you to start?
I am worked in accounting and audit firms for most of my career but ventured into corporate a few years ago. I realised at a point that I needed to build something that I could call my own and that my family needed me to be more present.
- What led you to this industry—was it passion, opportunity, or something unexpected?
It’s a combination of passion and opportunity. I studied a course in school that was very diverse and I planned on studying Civil Engineering after Matric but the universe had other plans for me. I chose to stay closer to home and study a BCompt Acc degree at Natal University.
- What has been your biggest challenge so far, and what did it teach you?
Wearing all the hats that come with being a business owner – marketing, networking and business development, working in and on the business.
- What’s the one skill or trait that has been absolutely essential to your success?
Listening to my clients and their specific needs and tailoring our offering to their needs
- What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve ever received, and how has it shaped your approach?
A leader always continues to learn. Whether you want to be a leader in your business, community or family, the key is to continuously learn.
- If you had to share one “secret ingredient” to business success, what would it be?
Clients are not just a number or source of revenue, they are your partners. Service standards should always be high and building and maintaining relationships are very important.
- What’s your biggest business goal for 2025, and how are you working towards it?
I want to work with the next generation of graduates to provide the experience and guidance in my profession by registering my business as an accredited training centre.

I love adventure and thrills, exploring new places and finding the places that aren’t always visited.
