1. What’s the name of your business, and what role do you play in making it a success? 

My business name is Ezika-Nzima Services, my role as a director is to drive the company to success, being a manager, marketer, trainer, brand ambassador etc… My responsibility is to balance quality of service delivery, customer care, operations, and business strategy in building a strong and sustainable business.

2. If you had to sum up your business in two sentences, how would you describe it? 

Ezika-Nzima Services is a trusted and professional cleaning company committed to delivering top-quality cleaning solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Ezika-Nzima Services goes beyond surface-level cleaning to ensure a healthier, cleaner, and more comfortable environment for every client we serve.

3. How long have you been on this journey, and what inspired you to start? 

This December, we proudly celebrate 7 years in business. From the beginning, my vision was to take ownership of my future -making independent decisions and building a sustainable livelihood on my own terms. The inspiration to venture into the cleaning industry came from my big sister Jabu and my Late father “Nzima” whose exceptional neatness and discipline shaped the way we were raised.  He instilled in us the importance of cleanliness, responsibility and taking pride in one`s work.

4. What led you to this industry – was it passion, opportunity, or something unexpected? 

Beyond personal motivation, I also recognized a need within the community: to create meaningful employment opportunities for individuals who may not have a formal education but possesses valuable practical skills and strong work ethic. It had always been my mission to empower these individuals, offering them a chance to earn a living, develop their abilities, and contribute to professional and reputable service.

5. What has been your biggest challenge so far, and what did it teach you?

One of our biggest challenges is balancing resources while trying to grow. Juggling all responsibilities with limited time, money, and manpower- while trying to maintain quality, attract customers and grow sustainably. This has thought me the value of careful planning , discipline, and making strategic decisions with limited means. I have learned how to prioritise what truly matters.

6. What’s the one skill or trait that has been absolutely essential to your success?

It’s a combination of my exceptional customer service and strong financial competence. Delivering consistent, high-quality service has helped build trust , retain clients, and strengthen our reputation. At the same time, maintaining sound financial management through budgeting, cost control, and strategic planning has ensured growth and long-term stability for the business.

7. What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve ever received, and how has it shaped your approach?

“Remain consistent and never compromise the quality of my work.” Trust is the foundation of a strong and growing business, clients remember reliability and professionalism more than anything else, when I show up and deliver excellence, and keep our standards high regardless of the size of the job, I build trust.

8. If you had to share one “secret ingredient” to business success, what would it be?

Consistency – how you show up, how you serve your clients, how you manage your team and how you handle your financials. It turns small actions into big results.

9. What’s your biggest business goal for 2026, and how will you be working towards it?

My 2026 biggest goal is building smart, scaling strong, and preparing my business for bigger opportunities ahead. I will be focusing on enhancing more reliable, trained team ,investing in people who uphold standards and represent my brand with pride. Strengthening our online presence, collecting reviews, and expanding our reach. Exploring new services and opportunities to serve more clients.

I am a career driven professional, passionately pursuing my dreams and building a life of purpose and success. I have focussed less on starting a family, my faith as a God-gifted prayer warrior has been my guiding force – providing strength, resilience, and wisdom in every step of my journey.
