DESCRIPTION:Topic: Canva for Business Owners\nIn this workshop we will explain how using Canva can benefit the small business owner. Details covered will include: Why you should be using Canva in your business\, Easy DIY design tips\, Using templates\, Creating flat lays\, what Canva can and can’t do\, and important Canva legalities. \nThere will be an exercise/practice session where participants can create a flatlay-styled Facebook cover. Her baby\, Cosmic Creations\, is a boutique design studio in Cowies Hill where the main focus is on design\, but has also evolved\, involuntarily\, into a marketing consultant. \nBorn and bred local\, originally from ‘Maritzborough\, am an INTJ-A personality type\, chronic introvert\, grammar Nazi\, and obsessive problem-solver. And I can be quite a snarky smart-ass\, with a terrible potty-mouth when you eventually get to know me. \nJo and her hubby have 13 rescue cats\, some of whom are employed by me on a part-time basis\, the rest are spongers\, but they’re still cute! Her other baby\, Eowyn is 23 and lives in London.  Jo’s mission is to empower small-business owners to become DIY design ninjas for all the small\, immediate\, day-to-day stuff required to manage their social media profiles and basic marketing items. Because\, really\, it’s a pain for you to have to wait (and pay for) all those little things from a designer that you need right now.

The options may be chosen on the product page	\n \n				 \nGuest Speaker: Carla Geyser\nCarla Geyser is an adventurer\, eco-warrior\, humanitarian and founded the Blue Sky Society Trust in 2012.  \nIn 2013 & 2014 she worked with the Kingsley Holgate Foundation promoting their Rhino Art Project and was also involved in the organising committee that ran the First World Youth Rhino Summit at Hluhluwe Umfolozi in Sept 2014. \nFollowing that\, she worked for the Lawrence Anthony Earth Organisation – helping with Project Planning and administration. Carla also organised and lead two “Dtours African Expeditions” for international tourists wanting to explore Africa in 2014 and 2016. \nIn 2017 Carla was the driving force behind the “Elephant Ignite” expedition into Africa to raise awareness for the plight of elephants. Her team comprised of all women who travelled just under 16 000km through ten countries in 100 days visiting vital conservation projects along the way. \nIn the last decade Carla has become increasingly aware of the importance of conservation and the fact that we cannot sit back and wait for a miracle to happen.  Every one of us needs to be involved in the fight for a better world.
